Western SnowEx Part # 23039 – Trip Spring is used on Western and SnowEx snow plows. From end to end, these measure 15" and are 2.5" round. Commonly found connected from the blade assembly to the quadrant assembly or headgear, your plow will need multiple trip springs in you are looking to replace all of them. For example, on the Western Wide-Out plow, there are (4) trip springs part # 23039. These can wear over time and can begin to lose their tightly wound spring effect. When that happens, you’ll notice your plow begin to bounce, skip or fail to brace for the impact of snow or other obstacles.
